Was it too short?: Yes, much too short. It was brilliantly written, gentle, and wonderfully realised, with just the right amount of sensitivity and intelligence. But it could-and should have been longer given the unresolved dilemma Gabrielle faced: Amazons only being interested in sex and fighting hardly remains truthful to the way the Amazons were depicted in "Xena: Warrior Princess".
